Azhar condemns bomb explosion in Algeria's Tebessa province

Al Azhar has strongly condemned the explosion that took place when a homemade bomb went off in the eastern Algerian province of Tebessa on Thursday, leaving five persons killed and three others injured.
In a press release on Friday, Al Azhar condemned such terrorist acts that target and terrorize civilians, noting that such heinous acts contradict religious laws.
It also called on the international community to intensify efforts to eradicate terrorism and its roots.
The statement also offered condolences to the Algerian people and families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
