“Egypt Can With Industry” conf. supports economic development goals

Minister of State of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram has said "Egypt Can with Industry" conference, which will be held in the Spring under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, aims at supporting economic development goals.
Egypt has been making strides in achieving economic development, Makram told MENA on Saturday.
She said the political leadership is very interested in boosting the industrial sector as the locomotive of economic development and in a move meant to raising the living standards of Egyptians in line with the sustainable development strategy "Egypt Vision 2030."
The last quarter of 2020 witnessed a series of meetings with representatives of a number of ministries and bodies concerned with industry and investment to prepare for this important conference as a promising chance for the Egyptian industry, the minister went on to say.
As part of preparations for the conference, several preparatory workshops were held about the industrial economy in post-Covid time, Makram said.
The conference is the sixth edition of a series of conferences, held with the participation of Egyptians living abroad at the directives of president Sisi to capitalize on their experience and get acquainted with proposals and international achievements in modernizing the state and achieving sustainable development goals, she added.
