The cabinet media center issued Saturday an infographic report on launching the governmental vehicles conversion initiative.

Launched to convert the fuel-powered vehicles into natural gas combustion ones, the initiative targets green and less polluted environment.

Deemed a national ambitious initiative, it integrates with the country’s strategy, aimed at raising the people’s standard of living, providing better services, supporting the national auto industry, and optimizing Egypt’s natural resources.

The initiative was launched in January 2021, and is expected to reduce citizens' conventional fuel spending by at least 50 percent.
