Liberia’s deputy foreign minister Henry Boimah. Fahnbulleh hailed on Wednesday Egypt’s support of his country in various fields.

Fahnbulleh’s remarks came during his meeting with Egypt’s ambassador in Monrovia Ahmed Helal as the Liberian senior official thanked Egypt for the medical aid it delivered in September to support the African country’s efforts in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

Fahnbulleh said that his country is keen on benefiting from the Egyptian progress in the health sector by providing treatment for some Liberian cases at the Egyptian hospitals.

Also, cooperation between the diplomatic institutes in the two countries was discussed in an attempt to develop the skills of the Liberian diplomats.

For his side, Helal stressed Cairo’s interest in reinforcing the ties with Liberia in all domains, especially amid Egypt’s role in peacekeeping in Liberia.
