Egypt’s Ambassador to Mauritius Aliaa Burhan discussed Friday with the Mauritian industry minister means of boosting industrial cooperation between Cairo and Port Louis.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the talks focused on boosting bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector amid the desire of the Indian Ocean’s island nation to benefit from the Egyptian expertise in this regard.
The two sides also discussed manufacturing the essential oils, as the Mauritian minister welcomed investments in this domain.
The two sides also probed the possibility of benefiting from Egypt's experts in training Mauritian cadres in different handcrafts, such as leather, pottery, metals, stones, wood, and carpets industries.
