Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa thanked Friday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his sponsorship of the 31st international conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.

Applying all the coronavirus-related precautionary measures, the conference will be held on March 13-14, under the theme of "Interfaith and intercultural dialogue".

The conference aims at reinforcing the culture of dialogue, along with reviewing the impact of constructive dialogue on combating terrorism and promoting "humanitarian-development-peace" nexus, Gomaa said.
