The mega national projects underway are based on scientific methods applied in many developing countries, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said.
Madbouli was speaking at the opening ceremony of several national projects, including El Fayrouz fish farming project in East of El Tafreah in Port Said on Saturday, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Madbouli said that the event presents a good opportunity to kick-start another vital project that seeks to improve Egyptian villages as part of the president's "Decent Life" initiative.
He stressed that improving citizens' quality of life is among the high-priority targets of Egypt Vision 2030 to ensure equal distribution of resources, facilitate rural-urban integration and create a diversified, digitized and competitive economy, which will lead to a knowledge-based life that depends on innovation and scientific research to achieve sustainable development.
This vision has been turned into a clear-cut plan to be executed on the ground, i.e Egypt's Strategic National plan for urban development 2052, which outlines our perspectives for new cities, road and utilities and railway networks, ports, land reclamation, fish farming and all factors of development that will enable us to turn our vision into reality nationwide, the premier said.
