United Nations Police Adviser and Director of the Police Division Police Commissioner Luís Carrilho expressed his thanks and appreciation for Egypt for being the biggest country contributing to peacekeeping operations of the United Nations, UN Media Center said.

The UN official's remarks were made during his visit to the Egyptian Police Academy earlier in the day to get briefed on the approaches of training the Egyptian police troops.

Head of the Police Academy and Interior Minister Assistant General Ahmed Ibrahim accompanied Carrilho during his visit to the Police Academy.
