Health Minister Dr Hala Zayed arrived here on Thursday to offer necessary medical assistance and supplies to Lebanon.

Three Egyptian aid planes arrived at Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut, carrying large amounts of medical aid, supplies and products and medical equipment, offered by the Arab League.

The move comes in implementation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives and amid Egypt's keenness on supporting the Lebanese people.

Zayed will meet with her Lebanese counterpart Dr Hamad Hassan. A joint press conference will follow their talks.
