Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has directed the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) to study whatever mechanism of action it believes is best to establish business complexes in partnership with CTP Invest.
In a meeting with CEO of CTP Invest Remon Vos and chairman of GAFI Mohamed Abdel Wahab earlier Sunday, Madbouli welcomed attempts by the company to do business in Egypt and share its knowhow where building and managing business complexes is concerned.
Vos said his company intends to pump about 300 to 600 million dollars into Egypt in new long-term investments over the coming five years.
He touched upon plans to establish two business complexes in Cairo, each over 2 million meters square. The two projects should help create some 14,000 direct jobs, Vos noted.
The complexes should include logistics, research and test centers, entrepreneurship neighborhood, SMEs neighborhood and huge storage areas.
