PM: President Sisi directs to develop health system provide to citizens nationwide

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted on Saturday that the state is currently exerting great efforts to develop health system provided to citizens nationwide after directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Egypt is striving for an advanced national healthcare system to improve the quality of medical services nationwide, the premier added.
Madbouli made his remarks while inspecting development activities at Shebin El Kom Teaching Hospital in Minoufiya governorate, including a project to establish a new admission and emergency building.
Among the officials accompanying the premier during his tour was Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed who briefed the prime minster on the construction progress of the new eight-storey building which occupies about 4,770 square meters.
The building will host CT scan, MRI and interventional catheterization units, Zayed said.
It will also have eight operating rooms, 48 ICU beds, six isolation beds, 96 in-patient beds and four emergency dialysis devices, the minister added.
She noted that the ministry seeks to turn the hospital, one of the oldest and largest in the governorate, into an outstanding medical center at the national as well as regional levels.
Madbouli instructed the bodies concerned to ensure that all development work is complete and the new building supplied with all necessary equipment to make its services available to citizens as soon as possible.
