Egypt on Friday strongly condemned the terror attack that targeted the Pakistani Peshawar mosque, leaving scores of persons killed and injured.

In a statement released on Friday, the Foreign Ministry voiced condolences and expressed grief to the Pakistani people and government and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The statement asserted Egypt's standing by the side of Pakistani in face of terrorism in all its forms.
