Sisi orders swift construction of Olympic city in New Administrative Capital

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued directives to speedily finalize the construction of Egypt's International Olympic City in the New Administrative Capital.
The president gave the instructions at a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Presidential Assistant for National and Strategic Projects Sherif Ismail, Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saeed, Finance Minister Mohamed Maait, and Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi.
President Sisi stressed that the Olympic city should be established using the latest techniques to help Egypt organize major international sporting events, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
The president was briefed on the work progress at the Olympic city, which will accommodate stadiums, pitches and service facilities, such as hotels and administrative buildings.
