Sultan Hassan mosque represents one of Egypt’s mosque at Mamleuk era. It has been erected ahead of the citadel. It has been also designed by an Engineer Mohamed Bilik el Mohosny, to become one of the magnificent mosque Worldwide.

The mosque was built at 1356 Ad, with the presence of Sultan Hassan the son of sultaan Nasser Mohamed bin sultan qualaween.

The land that is dedicated for building this mosque amounted to be more than ten thousand Feddan.
