The cabinet's media center denied rumors circulating about issuing a decision banning minor children from entering the Giza Pyramids Plateau.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said the news is void of truth, according to a statement issued Wednesday.

No decisions were issued to this respect, the statement added.

The center called on all media outlets and social media users to be more precise about the news they publish, it said.
