As many as 14 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released on Friday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total volume of exported goods from the port reached 25,720 tons.

Meanwhile, the total volume of imported goods into the port recorded 20,325 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 271,905 tons.
