PM reviews efforts to secure basic commodities

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said on Sunday that the government is keen to implement directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to maintain a strategic stock of basic commodities sufficient for six months in light of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
During a meeting with the ministers of finance, supply, planning and social solidarity, the premier followed up on the status of social protection programs launched by the government in support of various segments of the Egyptian community.
The meeting tackled the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict on the economic and social situation in Egypt, Cabinet's spokesman Nader Saad said.
