Gov't denies amending law on tourism, travel companies work
Wednesday، 10 August 2022 - 12:42 PM

The Cabinet's media center has denied news that the government introduced some amendments to the law on regulating the work of tourism and travel agencies without taking their opinion on the amendments.
In a statement Wednesday, the center said it contacted the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, which refuted the reports as "baseless."
The government did not amend law no 38 of year 1977 concerning the work of tourism companies, according to it.
It added the stable legal conditions of the companies can not be affected or harmed.
The center urged the tourism companies not to heed such rumors.
It also urged all media outlets to verify any information from bodies concerned before circulating false news that might create confusion.
