Mufti: Egyptian State pays great attention to youth
Friday، 12 August 2022 - 10:13 PM

Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawqi Allam said the Egyptian State, under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, pays great attention to youth and their issues.
In his speech Friday on the occasion of the International Youth Day, the Mufti said listening to the ideas of youth is a key tool in building communities, as they are on the front lines of the struggle to build a better future.
Allam added the State is highly interested in the empowerment of young people, citing the appointment of some young leaders as deputy governors and assistant to ministers, as well as House and Senate members.
He noted that Egypt's Darul Ifta launched a number of online platforms to find a new mechanism for protecting young people from falling as victims to extremist and terrorist groups that exploit the energy of youth and direct it to destroy societies.
