Under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry launched the initiative “Building the Human Being” on August 1^st , 2020, to enhance the digital skills of new graduates, provide them with the necessary skills that enhance their access to the most in-demand jobs globally, in collaboration with Microsoft Global.

The partnership aims to refine the skills of more than 20,000 new graduates in Egypt, from August 1^st, 2020 to March 31^st, 2021, by providing free access to the lists of the learning guide and the appropriate knowledge content required by the world's top ten job assignments. This is in addition to providing access to personal and functional skills data provided by LinkedIn, as well as receiving low-cost certification, with technological tools to assist young people acquire skills required by global labor markets. Microsoft's initiative launched in many countries of the world, in conjunction with the current economic crisis caused by the novel coronavirus, also seeks to help 25 million people around the world acquire the digital skills that qualify them to take the lead in the competitive labor market, particularly in qualifying them for the most sought-after jobs in the global labor market, which include: (software developer, project manager, IT manager, customer service specialist, digital marketing specialist, IT department support office, data analyst, financial analyst, graphic designer).
