Sisi greets Italian PM on assuming office

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on assuming office, wishing her success in her mission, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said on Sunday.
In his congratulatory message, President Sisi said he looks forward to enhancing ties with Italy in light of the strong partnership between the two countries in all fields.
The president invited Meloni to take part in the UN climate conference, COP27, in November, voicing confidence that Italy would play a positive role during the conference.
