Meetings with government officials


On October 1, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with the members of the Supreme Council of Judicial Authorities and Bodies, in the presence of Mr. Counselor Omar Marawan, Minister of Justice.

The meeting came within the framework of celebrating the time-honored Egyptian Judiciary Day, which was approved by the state, in an appreciation of the role played by the judicial authorities and bodies in consolidating and protecting constitutional principles, and upholding the rule of law.

During the meeting, the President affirmed that the judiciary has a responsibility to achieve justice, social peace, security and stability, which is a basic pillar for the progress of nations. Mr. President also indicated that the state is keen on the independence of the judiciary and non-interference in its affairs as a consistent approach. He added that the state always seeks to develop, modernize and enhance the judiciary capabilities, so that it becomes an advanced judicial system, in line with the course of the times and its developments.

The meeting was attended by Counselor Paul Fahmy Iskandar, President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, Counselor Muhammad Eid Mahjoub, President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Counselor Adel Fahim Azab, President of the State Council, Counselor Hamada El-Sawy, Attorney General, Counselor Muhammad Muhammad Bakr, Chairman of the State Cases Authority, and Counselor Adly Abd El-Fattah Zayed, Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, Mr. Counselor Muhammad Hussein Abd El Tawab, President of the Cairo Court of Appeal, Mr. Major General Hatem Al-Jazzar, Head of the Military Justice Authority, and Mr. Counselor Najah Musa, First Assistant Minister of Justice and Secretary General of the Judicial Bodies Council.

On October 2, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Mr. Hassan Abdullah, Governor of the Central Bank.

The meeting discussed the indicators of monetary policy and the performance of the banking sector in the country.

The Governor of the Central Bank reviewed the most prominent indicators of the global economic situation and the decisions and procedures of central banks in the major economic countries in the world recently, in order to deal with the repercussions and sharp economic developments in light of the current international conditions as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and the consequent continuous changes in global monetary policies.

The President directed the development of new initiatives to stimulate and attract foreign investments to Egypt during the coming period, while continuing the plans and efforts of the Central Bank and the banking system to provide priority requirements for production and industry.

On October 3, 2022, President Abd El- Fattah El-Sisi chaired the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces. During the meeting, he congratulated the Egyptian people and their sons in the armed forces on the occasion of celebrating the anniversary of the October victory. The meeting highlighted efforts of the armed forces to protect the pillars of Egyptian national security on all strategic directions, in cooperation and coordination with state institutions.

On October 9, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Lieutenant General Ahmad Khaled, Commander of the Strategic Command and Supervisor of Military Industrialization, Major General Ahmad Fathi Khalifa, Head of the Armed Forces Operations Authority, and a number of senior officials.

The President directed the continuation of the efforts of all concerned authorities in the state to achieve optimum utilization of the national network for emergency and public safety, using the latest means of communication technology.

In this context, the President was briefed on the developments of establishing the national emergency and public safety network system, which is expected to be circulated nationwide, which is one of the largest systems of its kind in the Middle East and Africa.

On October 11, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Muhammad Abbas Helmy, Minister of Civil Aviation, and Major General YehiaZakaria Ismail, Head of the Maintenance Company in EgyptAir.

The meeting reviewed the future strategy for the civil aviation sector. In this context, the President directed to strengthen efforts to advance the civil aviation sector and all its subsidiaries, to integrate with the comprehensive development process in all sectors in the country, by adopting an approach to development and modernization based on maximizing the use of the available capabilities, including Egypt's strategic location.

The President was also briefed on the ongoing efforts to develop Sharm El-Sheikh and St. Catherine airports, especially the main facilities and runways, in preparation for receiving Egypt's guests participating in the World Climate Summit in November in Sharm El-Sheikh.

On October 12, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Major General Amir Sayed Ahmad, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, Major General Hisham Souefi, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and Colonel Pilot Bahaa El-Din El-Ghanam, Director of the “Egypt’s Future” project".

The meeting discussed the developments of the executive position of the national project for agricultural production, "Egypt's Future".

In this regard, the President was briefed on the developments of the current and future phases of the "Egypt's Future" project. He directed to establish an integrated road network to link all areas of the project with the main axes in its geographical surroundings, in order to absorb the expected future urban development of those areas.

The meeting also witnessed the presentation of the executive position of each of the land reclamation projects in the governorates of Minya and BeniSuef, as well as the agricultural greenhouse complex in ​​Fayoum governorate.

On October 17, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Engineer Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry.

The meeting discussed the plan of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to increase industrial investments and enhance the production of industrial complexes.

The President directed that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry should simplify procedures related to industrial investments, and to have continuous and regular communication with the community of national businessmen, to identify the challenges they face and quickly provide solutions to overcome any obstacles in this regard.

On October 18, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi received a delegation of Egyptian businessmen and investors from various industrial sectors, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Acting Governor of the Central Bank, Ministers of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Planning and Economic Development, Finance, and Environment, housing, utilities, urban communities, trade and industry, and the Adviser to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning.

During the meeting, the president affirmed the state's keenness to continue direct interaction with investors and businessmen community. The president also affirmed the state's interest in stimulating investment and decisively dealing with all the concerns facing national businessmen, especially in light of their effective and influential contributions to the gross domestic product and employment rates of the labor force.

 The meeting witnessed an open dialogue between the President and a group of Egyptian businessmen and investors about what the government is doing to advance the comprehensive development process in Egypt and the future prospects for the economic situation in Egypt.


On October 22, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Mr. Al-Qaseer, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Dr. Hani Sweilem, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Major General Hisham Sweifi, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and Major General Majid El-Said, Director of the Water Department of the Armed Forces. The meeting reviwed efforts to manage water resources all over the republic

The President directed the continuation of efforts to govern the use of Nile water at the level of the Republic, especially through the deployment of a modern irrigation system for agricultural lands, as an essential element in the state's strategy to rationalize water consumption and raise the efficiency of its management.

On October 25, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met on with Major General Amir Sayed Ahmad, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, Major General HishamSweifi, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Major General Walid Abu Al-Majd, Director of the National Service Projects Agency of the Armed Forces, and Major General Essam Al-Sheikh, Director of the Department of Motor Vehicles of the Armed Forces, Major General Tawfiq Sami, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Company for Cultivation and Reclamation of Desert Lands, and Colonel Pilot Bahaa El-Din Al-Ghannam, Director of the “Egypt’s Future” project.

The official spokesman for the Presidency stated that the meeting discussed the developments of the executive position of a number of national projects for agricultural production and land reclamation, especially in Toshka region, and the project of Egypt’s Future.

In this regard,, the President was briefed on the progress of work in those projects, including the infrastructure of a network of roads, axes, modern irrigation systems, treatment plants and electric feeding.

On October 26, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaki, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Major General Amir Sayed Ahmad, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, Major General HishamSweifi, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and Major General Ahmad El Shazly, Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority, Major General Ahmad Al-Azzazi, Director of Mega Projects Department at the Engineering Authority, and Major General Ashraf Al-Arabi, Head of the Engineering Consulting Office at the Engineering Authority.

During the meeting, the President was briefed on the executive position regarding the efforts to develop unexploited vacant land areas within Cairo Governorate, as well as along the road network and new axes at the level of the Republic.

 On October 27, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaki, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Major General Amir Sayed Ahmad, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, Major General Hisham Sweifi, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and Major General Ahmad El Shazly, Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority, Major General Ahmad Al-Azzazi, Director of Major Projects Department at the Engineering Authority, and Major General Ashraf Al-Arabi, Head of the Engineering Consulting Office at the Engineering Authority.

The official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic stated that during the meeting, Mr. President was briefed on the executive position regarding efforts to develop unexploited vacant land areas within Cairo Governorate, as well as along the road network and new axes at the level of the Republic.

Mr. President directed the completion of the most appropriate exploitation of all lands proposed for development.

On October 30, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Muhammad Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy.

The meeting discussed the projects of the Ministry of Electricity nationwide, especially in the new and renewable energy sectors.

Dr. Muhammad Shaker reviewed the national projects in the electricity generation sector from new and renewable energy, especially those that rely on wind energy and solar energy, in cooperation and partnership with foreign expertise, within the framework of Egypt's integrated and sustainable energy strategy. Egypt’s strategy aims to reach 42% of Egypt’s renewable energy by 2035, especially with Egypt's upcoming hosting of the World Climate Summit in November in Sharm El-Sheikh.

In this context, the President directed the expansion of efforts to manufacture components for the production of new and renewable energy, especially wind turbines and solar panels, in order to enhance the role of renewable energy with the aim of diversifying the energy supply sources on which the development process depends.

 On October 30, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade.

The meeting dealt with the situation of the availability of basic strategic food commodities at the level of the Republic. In this context, the President was briefed on the position of the strategic stocks of all basic food commodities.

The President directed to maintain the continuity of the state's strategic stock of main food commodities and follow up on their market prices, with the aim of maintaining the stability of the state's food security position, by meeting the needs of citizens with appropriate quantities and prices.

In this regard, Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi presented the detailed position of the state's stock of various basic commodities, taking into account the holy month of Ramadan and the importance of preparing for it.

Field tours and official celebrations


On October 3, 2022, within the framework of Egypt and the Armed Forces’ celebrations of the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victories, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, accompanied by Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces laid a wreath of flowers on the memorial of the martyrs of the armed forces in Nasr City. Then the President laid a wreath of flowers on the tomb of the late President Muhammad Anwar Sadat. Then the President went to the tomb of the late leader Gamal Abd El-Nasser in Kobry Al-Kobba, where he laid a wreath of flowers.


On October 5, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi attended the celebration of the Ministry of Al-Awqaf (Endowments) on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet.

On October 10, 2000, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi witnessed the graduation ceremony of the new batch of the Police Academy 2022.

On October 13, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi attended graduation ceremony of new batches of the military colleges and institutes.


On October 14, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi inspected the construction works to develop a number of roads and axes in Greater Cairo.

The president's tour included inspecting the progress of work to develop the Mokattam Corniche and the central plateau region, as well as the axes leading to the Mokattam plateau, which will help link them to various neighborhoods of Cairo to allow easy movement of citizens.

The President also inspected the construction works of the Hasaballah Al-Kafrawy corridor and the surrounding axes, which connect southern Cairo with the Maadi region, passing through the Ring Road and the Martyr Corridor, all the way to eastern Cairo and the areas of New Cairo, which helps reduce traffic burdens on the Ring Road.

The President directed to continue efforts to develop and raise the efficiency of roads and traffic axes in the various regions of Greater Cairo, in order to achieve ease of movement for citizens using those roads and axes.

On October 23, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi inspected the executive position and the progress of construction works for the new administrative capital.

On October 28, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi made an inspection tour of the Integrated Car City. In this context, the president was briefed on the executive and construction position of the city, which is located on an area of ​​57 acres at the intersection of the Muhammad Naguib axis with Al-Mahajar Road.  It accommodates 4,000 cars and is equipped with an integrated systems and information structure. It includes many parking spaces, an internal road network, and 10 entry gates.

 On October 31, 2022, President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the main control center for the unified national network for emergency services and advanced public safety in Mokattam. The project for the unified national network for emergency services and advanced public safety is a historic achievement and a major cultural shift for Egypt in dealing with crises and emergencies through one system.
