Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said that the ministry’s consular sector is maintaining contacts around the clock with Egypt's embassies in Ankara and Damascus to stand on the condition of Egyptians in both countries that were hit by a massive earthquake on Monday.

Phone numbers were designated in both embassies for Egyptian citizens wishing to report any injuries or ask for help, he said.
