President Abdel Fattah El Sisi visited on Thursday 02/03/2023 the Upper Egypt governorate of Minya to inspect the achievements realized in developing the governorate and its villages as well as the New Minya city.

This falls within the framework of the presidential initiative Decent Life, where the President’s visit aims to stand on the development progress made in the Upper Egyptian governorate and New Minya city to provide a decent life for citizens there.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected the progress realized so far in development projects carried out in Al-Maasara village in the Upper Egypt governorate of Minya under the presidential ‘Decent Life’ initiative.

El-Sisi was warmly welcomed by more than 1,500 volunteers participating in these development initiatives and projects.

The president lauded the great efforts exerted by the volunteers to improve the living standards of citizens in the countryside.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed that all development projects mainly focus on serving citizens everywhere, noting that the state is always keen to serve citizens in the countryside and Upper Egypt.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi had breakfast with volunteers and a number of people in Al-Maasara village who welcomed him upon arrival in Minya's Maasara village.

During his talk with the villagers, the president stressed the State pays great attention to citizens in the countryside and Upper Egypt, saying all development projects carried out nationwide aim to serve the citizens in every part of the country.

He also inspected a library which was established in the village under the presidential initiative Decent Life.

He also inspected a school set up under Decent Life in Menya in addition to several projects accomplished under the initiative, including an agricultural complex, dairy products center and a postal office.

The president also had an open dialogue with people in the village.

El Sisi said he is proud of all youths and volunteers who contributed to carrying out development projects and voluntary works in the Upper Egypt governorate of Menya.

He thanked the volunteers over their great efforts, urging all young people to follow in their footsteps.
