GAFI head probes with Greece's Mytilineos investment cooperation

CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hossam Heiba discussed on Wednesday 29/3/2023 with representatives of the Greek company of Mytilineos investment opportunities in Egypt.

Mytilineos is a Greece-based industrial conglomerate whose business units are active in the sectors of metallurgy, energy and EPC.
The company mulls pumping investments in Egypt during the coming period in the fields of solar energy, rechargeable batteries, new and renewable energy, oil, gas and infrastructure.
Heiba posted the Greek delegation on efforts made by the Egyptian government to facilitate and expedite measures of registering companies desiring to open headquarters and pump investments in the Egyptian market.
He said 13 companies received recently 13 golden licenses while requests are being studied to give 40 others the same licenses.
