Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayed el Quseir discussed on Friday with Ms. Nuria Sanz, Director of UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science in the Arab States, means to develop Egypt's botanical gardens and agricultural museums.

The minister hailed cooperation between Egypt and the international organization, pointing out that the Egyptian government gives top priority to developing rural areas and supporting smallholder farmers and women.

For her part, Sanz said her organization backs biological diversity and the cultures and traditions of rural communities.
