President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated on March 2, 2023, a practical model farm for livestock production and improved cattle breeding in West Minya.

The farm was established on an area of about 15 acres, with a capacity of about 1,500 heads, for animal production and genetically improved buffalo breeding. It is under the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.

The farm includes 26 barns and two milking parlors. In addition, the farm already has 1,300 heads and produces about 2 tons of milk per day.
