Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation has issued directives on banning the holders of all kind of visiting visas from entering the kingdom during the hajj season 2023/1444, said EgyptAir on Saturday 20/05/2023.

Egypt's flagship carrier said it notified all tourist companies and travel agents not to issue tickets for passengers holding visiting visas and seeking to travel on flights heading to Jeddah and Madina during the period between May 30- June 28.

In a statement, EgyptAir said an airlift will be operated to carry pilgrims to Madina and Jeddah as of June 10-23, while return flights will be operated between July 1-13.
