A delegation of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) under CEO Walid Gamal el Din met with members of the Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed investment prospects in the SCZone.

In a statement Saturday 27/05/2023, the SCZone said that the meeting came as part of the delegation's current promotional tour in China.

The meeting also tackled the electronic industries, especially in east Ismailia region, as well as mechanisms to implement projects there, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, the statement said that a delegation from the SCZone paid a visit to China's Midea Group for electronics, where they met with the Midea's Chinese officials.

The meeting discussed the production lines of the factory within the industrial developer Teda - Egypt in the Sokhna Integrated Industrial Zone.
