India  the current chair of the G20 - issued an Arabic language booklet including a chapter on the importance of Egypt's participation in the G20 summit in light of the historic ties between the two countries.

In a statement on Sunday, the Indian embassy in Cairo said the booklet includes the official agenda of the summit which will be held on September 9-10.

The statement referred to the key role played by the two countries in establishing the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in the 1960s.

The statement added that the Egyptian-Indian ties have witnessed a boost since President Abdel Fattah El Sisi took the helm.
