House approves bills submitted by govt to amend some laws

The House of Representatives has approved a number of bills submitted by the government to amend some provisions of laws enacted in the 1990s.
In a plenary session on Sunday 28/5/2023, the House approved amendments proposed by the government to the stamp tax law of 1980.
The MPs also okayed an amended 1984 law meant to impose fees for developing the state’s financial resources.
Amendments to law No. 24 of 1999 was also approved by the House and it suggests to impose taxes on entering theaters and other entertainment venues.
A final decision should be reached in another session.
