Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef stressed the kingdom's interest in boosting exports to the Egyptian market.

In statements to the Saudi Ekhbariya channel, he said there are many chances for cooperation with Egypt in the industrial and mining sector.

The minister - who embarked on a visit to Egypt - is scheduled to hold talks with a number of officials and investors in the sector in addition to having a field tour in a number of factories and companies.

Investors of both countries will also hold meetings within this context.

Alkhorayef's visit to Egypt is meant to promote the role of the industry and mining sector in the national economy map in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
