Egypt and China have always strived to preserve internal, regional, and international stability as a pillar of growth and a requirement for establishing a wealthy society, President of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA) Mohamed Oraby said Sunday.

“We have followed with great interest the Chinese Communist Party's internal and external policies, as well as its positions on numerous regional and international issues and its valuable initiatives, particularly those announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping in the last decade,” Oraby added during a seminar hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Cairo.

Egypt participated in several of these projects and interacted with them, reflecting the resemblance and, at times, congruence of Egyptian and Chinese perspectives, the Egyptian diplomat said.

All developing nations and economies, including Egypt, have benefitted from the accumulation of Chinese experiences and skills in moulding the elements of their national programs to achieve sustainable development, he added.
