Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar asserted preparedness to offer all needed support for developing Zimbabwe's health mechanism.

He made the remarks during a meeting with his Zimbabwean counterpart Constantino Chiwenga on the fringe of the ongoing Africa Health ExCon, Africa's largest medical exhibition, hosted on June 7-9 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo.

The minister expressed preparedness for getting Zimbabwe to benefit from the successful Egyptian experiment for eradicating hepatitis virus C and B.

The talks also tackled means of benefiting from Egypt's experience in diagnosing tumors as well as sending medical teams to Zimbabwe to contribute to improving health services.
