Egypt’s Participation in the 1st Edition of Chinese "Knowledge on China-Africa Development" Forum in Beijing

Osama El-Gohary, Assistant to the Prime Minister and President of the Information Decision and Support Center (IDSC), participated as keynote speaker in the opening session of the 1st edition of "Knowledge on Chinese-African Development" forum that is being held on August 29-30 in Beijing, and organized by the Chinese Center (CIKD).
Several leaders and government officials from China and a number of African countries are attending the forum, in addition to specialists, think tanks, and regional and international organizations, with a view to reviewing international experiences in this field.
President of IDSC asserted that the African continent remains a promising market for investment with its natural resources, young workforce and the high demand for facilities and infrastructure needed for growth…And global predictions indicate that infrastructure investments will total roughly $300 billion by 2040
