On the occasion of celebrating the Prophet’s birth, I would like to extend my sincere greetings to the Egyptian people as well as the Arab and Islamic nation.

This redolent anniversary is an opportunity to ponder upon the meanings of mercy, compassion, peace and guidance and to draw inspiration from the wisdom and good advice that the noble Prophet established and called for and thus he was the gifted mercy, the role model and the example.

I ask Allah Almighty to return this blessed day with much blessings and success for our Arab and Islamic peoples, and to protect our dear homeland from all evil.
