The cabinet announced appointing Sameh el Kheshin as the cabinet spokesman in succession of Nader Saad who was appointed as the Egyptian ambassador Bulgaria and non-resident ambassador to North Macedonia under a presidential decree.

Counselor Kheshin obtained the Master’s degree in political science from the American University in Cairo, and joined the diplomatic corps in 2004.

He worked at the Egyptian Embassy in Central Africa and served as part of the Egyptian permanent delegation to the United Nations in Geneva, the Egyptian permanent delegation to the United Nations in New York, and the Egyptian Interests Section in Tehran.

Counselor Kheshin also worked in the Foreign Ministry's departments for political planning and crisis management, disarmament affairs, peaceful uses of nuclear energy, climate and environment management, and sustainable development.
