The Ministry of Interior will start on Saturday to apply a plan for securing schools, universities and institutes in conjunction with the beginning of the new school year, senior security source told MENA on Friday 29/09/2023.

Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq instructed the security sectors concerned to exert all efforts to safeguard the education process and provide a safe environment for students and educators, the source added.

The source noted that a comprehensive security plan was developed by the Ministry of Interior with a view to increasing security presence in the surroundings of all schools, universities, and institutes in addition to the roads leading to them.
