Egypt’s Participation in the 60th Edition of the Munich Security Conference

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry participates in the 60th edition of the Munich Security Conference, held from 16 -18 February, at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, with the contribution of numerous heads of state, government leaders, ministers, and senior officials from many countries are participating in this year's conference.

In addition, several leaders of international organizations and think tanks are participating in this year's edition to discuss the most significant security and strategic challenges worldwide.

According to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Shoukry will be a key speaker in a session on peace and stability in the Middle East.

Furthermore, he will hold several meetings on the sidelines of the conference with other foreign ministers and senior officials to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and consultation on issues of mutual interest, the foreign ministry said.

Shoukry will also hold media briefings on the sidelines of the conference to present Egypt's stance on the most significant challenges facing the Middle East region, especially the conflict in Gaza.
