Switzerland has congratulated Egypt and its people on the 72nd anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.

Assistant State Secretary and Head of the MENA Division at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Maya Tissafi expressed best wishes for Egypt and its people on the national day.

"Our warmest wishes to Egypt and its people on the occasion of their National Day," Tissafi posted on her account on social media platform "X". 

"Swiss and Egyptian strong relationship hit an important milestone in 2024, with the 90th anniversary of our Friendship Treaty from 1934. Here’s to another 90 years of fruitful cooperation."
