Ethnic groups: Arab-Berber.
Languages: Arabic (official) – Berber dialects-French.
Historical glimpse: In 1912, the French imposed a protectorate over the country. A protracted independence struggle with France ended success-fully in 1956 and Morocco was proclaimed an dependent monarchy. On its throne ascended King Mohammed I. Today’s Head of state is King Mohammed VI, since (July 30, 1999).

Agricultural Products: Barely-wheat-citrus-vegetables- olives and livestock.
