The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights

It was established in 1985 aiming to enhance human rights in Egypt based on principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international legislations of human rights.
The organization monitors cases of human rights in Egypt ,defends rights of citizens and challenges violations of human rights regardless of identities of victims or violators. It also prepares reports on human rights violations and supports principles of human rights. The organization has nearly 2300 members and 17 offices in Egypt’s governorates.
