Egyptian delegation in Libya

Wednesday، 07 September 2011 - 12:00 AM

An Egyptian delegation will visit Libya within the next few days to congratulate the Libyan people and the transitional government, the National Transitional Council, on the success of their revolution.

The delegation will also study Libyan needs of Egyptian labor in reconstruction efforts, said Minister of Manpower and Immigration Dr. Ahmed al-Borei.

Al-Borei said that the delegation would include businessmen, the interim committee of the federation of workers, and owners of construction companies.

“The Libyan rebels requested Egyptian labor before Gaddafi’s escape from Tripoli, but the Egyptian government could not send any workers there as it was concerned about their safety,” said Borei.
