Defending Islam from Mecca

As pilgrims are flocking to Mecca from every part of the world to perform Hajj, the religious tolerance of Islam shines. There are many good lessons to learn especially from the way people treat each other and their commitment to follow the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad and adhere to the teachings of Islam in all domains of life.

The Hajj shows that there is no difference between Arabs and non-Arabs. People excel each others only through righteousness and good deeds. The Hajj teaches us that all Muslims are like one body; if one part of the body suffers, the whole body feels the pain. Therefore, they should support each other.

If we ponder these noble behaviors and apply them perfectly, we will find that they are the best reaction to the non-Muslims who can notice the principles of mercy, compassion, cooperation, solidarity and helping the poor during the Muslim's largest gathering.

These behaviors leave profound impressions on others and help recall the beauties of the Islamic civilizations. They are the best reaction to all those who insult Islam and Prophet Muhammad.

Yet, Muslims should cling to these teachings not only during Hajj but also in their whole life.
