Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received a phone call from US Secretary of State John Kerry, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said on Sunday 27/3/2016.

The contact tackled boosting the political process in Syria, completing the constitutional and legal framework of the national unity government in Libya and providing an international support for this government.

The two sides also discussed boosting bilateral cooperation.

Kerry reiterated the US commitment to boosting stability and economic growth in Egypt.
