- 10 scholars from Al-Azhar work in Togo in Islmaic Missions and teach Arabic language and Holy Quran in Islamic schools in different provinces of Togo.
- Al-Azhar offers two annual scholarships to Togolese students to study at Al-Azhar Institutes. It was approved to increase the number of scholarships to five as of the academic year 2011/2012.
- Togo is always invited to participate in the training courses organized by the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These training courses cover different fields, such as police work, agriculture, judiciary, medicine, nursing, information and diplomacy.
