During the visit of high-level Czech delegation to Egypt on 01/31/2016, headed by Foreign Minister, a protocol of cooperation between the Federation of Egyptian Industries and Czech Industries Federation was signed, aiming at exchanging experiences, promoting economic relations and increasing trade volume between the two countries.

Czech Foreign Minister met Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed el Assar, where they discussed strengthening the close cooperation between the two sides and the supply of some of the Czech defense equipment.

Czech exports to Egypt reached, by the end of November 2015, about 340.2 million dollars, while Egyptian exports to the Czechs reached about $ 71.7 million.

Contractual Framework

  • Cultural Cooperation Agreement was signed on 19.10.1957 and entered into force on 24.03.1958. It is agreed on implementing its executive programs regularly.
  • Agreement on Establishing an Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Committee was signed in 26.09.1964 and entered into force on 9.6.1965.
  • Agreement on Release of Personal Effects and Debt Settlement was signed on 18.1.1964 and entered into force on 18.11.1964.
  • Cooperation Agreement on Health Care was signed on 26.11.1964 and entered into force on 11.26.1964.
