Decisions of the National Elections Authority on the 2024 Presidential Elections

 The National Elections Authority, headed by Judge Hazem Badawy, Vice President of the Court of Cassation, issued 3 important decisions, including the final list of candidates for the 2024 Egyptian presidential elections, determining the headquarters of the general committees, determining the headquarters of the subcommittees, and distributing voters to them.


The first decision, No. 28 of 2023, included the final list of candidates in the presidential elections and their electoral symbols, which included Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil Al-Sisi, known as Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, the symbol of the star Mohamed Farid Saad Zahran, his fame Farid Zahran, the symbol of the sun, Abdel Sanad Hassan Mohamed Yamama, his fame Abdel Sanad Yamama, the symbol of the "Palm", and Hazem Mohamed Suleiman Mohamed Omar, and his fame Hazem Omar, the symbol of "peace".


 The second decision No. 29 of 2023 included determining the headquarters of the general committees in the presidential elections, which are the supreme authority directly supervising the work of the sub-polling committees  in which the elections are conducted, and it is also the body that reviews the election papers delivered to it by the heads of the sub-polling committees, collects the votes of voters from the counting minutes received from the subcommittees, and announces the numerical count of votes within the scope of each general committee.


The third decision included No. 30 of 2023 regarding determining the headquarters of the subcommittees and counting in the presidential elections, as it distributed the 67 million voters to the subcommittees within 10,000 and 85 "school" polling stations nationwide.
