President Abdel Fattah el Sisi will be embarking on a four-day visit to Vienna, Austria, on Sunday 16/12/2018.
During his visit, the president will hold important talks with Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, which will take up means of bolstering bilateral ties at various levels.
This visit provides a well-timed opportunity to promote European-African cooperation at the political economic and security levels given the historical ties between Vienna and Cairo and Egypt's chairmanship of the African Union in 2019.
Both sides will also review several regional as well as international files of mutual concern.
The president is also expected to partake in the High-level Forum Africa-Europe 2018 slated for December 17-18.
The forum will discuss furthering cooperation between Africa and the EU countries in migration, innovation and digital economy.
