The bilateral relation between the two countries is characterized by being durable and strong.
Political Relations
The Egyptian embassy is one of 34 foreign representations in the Central African Republic, and one of 33 foreign representations in Bangui.
Economic Relations
Orascom Group for communications "TELECEL" has the largest number of customers in the Central African market, the share of the company's investment is estimated at about $ 100 million.
Central Africa hosts a branch of Al Nasr Company for export and import which is concerned with increasing the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries.
A number of Egyptian businesspersons recently organized visits to Central Africa to explore the investment opportunities.
Contractual Framework
• The "economic and technical cooperation Agreement” is the main regulator of economic relations between the two countries; it was signed in 31/1/2007 and came into force in 2008.
• An Agreement was signed between the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Republic of Central Africa in 1996, organizing technical cooperation between the two sides and defining the technical needs of the Central African Republic.
